Imagine the expectations when you grow up as the son of Hall of Famer Peter Stastny and the nephew of former Quebec Nordiques star Anton Stastny. Paul Stastny has more than lived up to those expectations. After leading the University of Denver Pioneers to back-to-back NCAA Championships, Stastny has gone on to a stellar career with his hometown Colorado Avalanche and three other NHL teams.

Over 1,072 NHL regular season games, Stastny has. Tallied 800 points, including 284 goals. And a 2011 NHL All-Star game nod.

This Game Used stick, obtained directly from the Avalanche, is a Sherwood pro model with a composite shaft made from carbon fiber sheets and a foam core with carbon sheet blade. The stick bears an identifying serial number, Stastny's name, and the original black stick tape used by Stastny.

This is an excellent example of an NHL Game Used player stick, in great condition, from a bona fide star.
